New Inspiration

The Surrey Word Guild Writer's conference, Faith Igniting Creativity, was an excellent opportunity to learn from others and sell some of my books. Carolyn Arends, a songwriter, musician and author, encouraged us to use our God-given gifts, and she focused on our uniqueness.

David Kitz, the Board Chair of the Word Guild, spoke about the link between writing and drama and presented a blogging session.

I especially enjoyed new connections with children's authors, who I hope to feature on my blog someday.

The art gallery presentation was also an excellent opportunity to view local, talented artists. I hope that this will turn into an annual event!
